Super Recipes for a Super Bowl

In search of some hearty, crowd-pleasing recipes for your Super Bowl party? Firsthand Foods has you covered.  We’ve pulled together some recipes from our files that we think work well for any party—big or small.

It’s not a Super Bowl party with out chips and dip!  Our queso fundido is the perfect cheesy dip to serve.  Firsthand Foods chorizo shines in this recipe!  The key to the perfect dip is the cheese.  Other types of melting cheese will work if you can’t find the authentic Mexican style-cheeses.  The creamy cheese and rich pork chorizo give this dip a “stick to your ribs” quality.  Best served in a cast iron skillet, which will keep the dip warm and gooey for quite a while.

The best Super Bowl party tables are adorned with platters of quick bites.  Firsthand Foods Pork and Chive Dumplings are the perfect finger food for your guests. You can steam them or fry them—either preparation will work for this occasion.  Our juicy ground pork makes these dumplings especially flavorful.  Your guests will keep coming back for more.  To avoid the dreaded party juggling act, drizzle the dipping sauce over the pot stickers on the serving platter.  Now, sit back and watch them disappear!

Did someone say taco bar? Count us in! Our Beer Braised Brisket Taco recipe is the perfect make-ahead dish for game day.   Keep the meat warm in a slow cooker or on the stovetop and let your guests create their own taco deliciousness.  Make your taco topping game strong by including these favorites: Mexican cotija cheese, cilantro, chopped onions, jalapenos, lime wedges, Mexican crema, and radish slices.  Corn or flour tortillas are the perfect vessels for our succulent beef brisket and don’t forget you can also make a fantastic plate of nachos with it, too.
