Zizzy’s interest in beef began as a young man when he went into the cow/calf business with some friends. This early experience whet his appetite for raising cattle. Throughout his years of owning and running a general construction business with his brother Pete, Zizzy never lost his interest in beef.
Today, when Zizzy is not in his construction office, you’ll find him on the farm. While most of the daily operations are handled by his Farm Manager, Daniel Stewart, Zizzy takes an active role in managing his herd. His current focus is to be able to strip graze intensively enough to be able to eliminate the need for mowing and baling hay.
