Jeremy grew up on his family farm and he and his wife, Ashley, are passionate about raising their children in the same way. Their two year old daughter Hadley loves riding along with her parents to do chores and manage their cattle.
In addition to running the farm, Jeremy works for Duke Energy as an electrical relay technician and Ashley works as an office manager while also doing photography part-time. Jeremy says that running the farm is a stress reliever for him after work. “In this fast paced world, it’s a nice way to slow down.”
The Websters’ pastures are primarily a mix of fescue and clover, along with oats, pearl millet, and orchard grass. Their cattle are rotated monthly during growing season. Looking to the future, they would like to obtain more land and hope to eventually take on smaller scale hog and poultry production.
